About Us

The Minty Pocket was set up in 2008 by internet rogues and old school friends Sam Brydges and Gareth Bunkham.  During its life span the site has already formed many different guises which have all cumulated in the slagging off of various politicians and celebrities.  Now concentrating more on its audio and visual content expect the site to keep on growing from strength to strength. There will still be a regular blog though to let everyone know what The Minty Pocket is up to and offer the occasional dig at those disgracing themselves in front of the watching world.

Why not check out…

Twitter

The Minty Pocket is on Twitter. Follow us at http://www.twitter.com/mintypocket or check the magic Twitter box at the top of the homepage to see the most recent updates as the boys discuss everything from the likes of football and TV to their more libelous and defamatory views on celebrity culture and the media. Twit them your thoughts or why not email them at mintypocket@live.com.

That's Not News - Is It?

Join the world’s most unorganised and unprofessional news team as they delve into the weeks alternative news stories. Alan Zimbabwe takes the chair to guide you through reports from intellects such as Felix Spagettio, Jazzy McDogshaft, Dick King, Johnny Bongs and Tom Meringue.

Das Football

Catch-up with the weekly blog from The Minty Pocket’s Sam Brydges.  Sam thinks Das Football offers a humorous and insightful look at the week’s football including the form of Burnley Football Club as well as the goings on in the Premiership, Champions League and International scene.  Although he could be wrong.

TV or not TV

The Minty Pocket’s finest international television critic Gareth Bunkham offers a mild combination of laughs and intelligent dissection of the weeks TV from the U.K and the States. Features include top ten lists, what’s hot and what’s not as well as the occasional rant about not winning on the horses.

News Archive

We used to write stories every day before we got lazy. So why not relive those moments by checking out the news vault. It’s a must see, if only to read some of the ridiculous puns.  Answers on a postcard as to how we haven’t got a job at The Sun yet.

Features Archive

There was also the odd feature.  Read them, it's like a retarded O.K magazine.
